Donation amount, transaction ID, date/time, payment method used (e.g., card, UPI, net banking), and transaction status (success, failed, or refunded), as provided by our payment gateway.
Payment information (processed securely by our third-party payment gateway; we do not store full card or bank account details on our own servers — the gateway may return the last 4 digits of a card for receipt purposes).

We may also automatically collect limited technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) through standard website logs.

How We Use Your Information

At this time, our website accepts donations from India-resident donors only. PAN/Aadhaar or an alternate ID collected for Section 80G purposes is used solely for the tax compliance and receipt-issuance purposes described in Sections 2 and 3, and is not used for any other purpose without your consent.

Please note that under the Income Tax Act, cash donations above ₹2,000 are not eligible for a Section 80G deduction. We recommend donating through digital payment methods if you wish to claim a tax deduction.

Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information only in the following circumstances:

With trusted service providers who help us operate our website and process donations (e.g., payment gateways, website hosting, email service providers), solely for the purpose of performing those services.

Once no longer required, such records are securely deleted or anonymised, consistent with the data minimisation principles under the DPDP Act, 2023.
